2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup
From June 6th to July 5th, 2015, Canada hosted the FIFA Women’s World Cup for the first time. An estimated 19,829 spectators attended nine games that were held at TD Place in Ottawa. Visitors from around the world descended on the nation’s capital for this unprecedented event, setting a new total attendance record. SP+ was able to assist spectators in parking and transportation to and from the games.
“The game was great, and the other activities were also interesting. And when the game was over, stadium (sic) staff were there to help people get into the right buses. I want to go back, and see another game.” – Giannifox, Ottawa (comment on tripadvisor.com)
